Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has intensified enforcement operations against illegal commercialisation across Lahore, sealing 125 properties during a major crackdown carried out by its Town Planning Wing on Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to LDA officials, the action targeted properties involved in unauthorised commercial activities as well as owners who had failed to pay commercialisation fees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the operation, 66 properties were sealed in Canal Road, Gulshan Ravi and Samanabad, while another 24 properties were sealed on PIA Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Authorities said an additional 20 properties in Gulberg and New Garden Town were sealed over illegal commercial use and non-payment of dues. In a separate recovery drive, LDA teams also sealed 15 properties in Sabzazar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The affected properties included private schools, bakeries, pharmacies, clinics, grocery stores, beauty salons, workshops, restaurants, food outlets, shops and offices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The operation was conducted under the supervision of Chief Town Planner-I Asaduz Zaman and Chief Town Planner-II Azhar Ali.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officials said the authority would continue enforcement actions against illegal commercialisation and violations of town planning regulations across the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
