\"giles\"<\/a>Zameen.com Chairman Mr Giles Blanchard spoke to 200 students of the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) on November 17, 2014. The event was part of a regular talk series \u201cEnspire\u201d organised by the LUMS Entrepreneurial Society, in which entrepreneurs from the technology, business, health and government sectors interact with the students of LUMS to share ideas and information about business start-ups and the difficulties they face.<\/p>\n

Mr Blanchard was the perfect guest speaker for this month\u2019s talk, which was held during the Global Entrepreneurship Week \u201cENVISION\u201d. ENVISION is an intra-LUMS event which is attended by over 200 students. Mr Blanchard offered these students an inspiration to explore new possibilities to achieve greater professional heights through his journey that he started back in 1992, when the internet was still in its infancy. With his innovative and proactive approach towards technology, Mr Blanchard launched the first French online real estate portal, which changed the conventional face of property business.<\/p>\n

Zameen.com Co-CEO Imran Ali Khan also spoke to the students and shared his experience of building Zameen.com from scratch and eventually turning it into a household name in Pakistan. The experience of Mr Blanchard in the global online market and expertise of Mr Khan in Pakistan\u2019s emerging online media was a perfect combination for the ENVISION talks held for Global Entrepreneurship Week at LUMS.<\/p>\n

As a tech company busy making Pakistan\u2019s real estate market make effective use of the technology and facilitate general property buyers and sellers despite their geographical location, Zameen.com has singlehandedly changed the face of the conventional property dealing mechanism in Pakistan.
