He added that JICA would also provide technical assistance for the Shahdara Dam and Dotara Dam projects, with construction work already underway on Shahdara Dam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CDA chairman said measures were being taken to reduce water wastage, curb line losses and promote efficient water use to improve overall system performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>JICA\u2019s technical expertise will also be used to upgrade the Simly and Sangjani water filtration plants as part of wider efforts to modernise Islamabad\u2019s water infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Senior CDA officials, including Member Administration Esfandyar Baloch and DG Islamabad Water Sardar Khan Zimri, attended the meeting.
