Under the new arrangement, applicants opting for premium processing will be charged based on the actual cost of the service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Authorities further informed the meeting that preparations for home delivery of passports, both within Pakistan and abroad, have been completed. The facility is expected to be launched soon, enabling citizens to receive passports at their doorstep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, a cashless payment system is set to be introduced at passport offices nationwide from July 1 as part of ongoing digitisation efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Officials also said online passport applications will be shifted to the Pak ID platform to create a more integrated digital application process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meeting reviewed progress on a proposed Business Passport policy.
