The Naushahro Feroze-Ranipur and Ranipur-Sukkur sections will be financed by the Islamic Development Bank, while the Nawabshah-Naushahro Feroze section will be funded by the OPEC Fund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The committee also reviewed the status of Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) schemes and was informed that approximately PKR 2.6 trillion of the total PKR 3.7 trillion PSDP outlay comprises throw-forward projects. Officials further said that around PKR 60 billion allocated to the National Highway Authority (NHA) had been reduced in the federal budget due to austerity measures and emerging security requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Expressing concern over constrained road maintenance spending in recent years, the committee directed the Ministry of Communications to submit a detailed report on the utilisation of maintenance funds, particularly in Sindh.
