Officials said 99% of the development funds earmarked for the road sector had been utilised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meeting was told that the Local Roads Programme comprises 1,567 schemes worth PKR 79 billion, covering around 3,400 kilometres. They said the 93.5-kilometre Multan-Vehari dual carriageway, the 24-kilometre Faisalabad-Chiniot dual carriageway and the 13-kilometre Tourism Highway have been completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meeting was further informed that restoration work on all 124 roads damaged by floods has been completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the meeting, Maryam Nawaz approved the establishment of six additional service areas under the Punjab Ring Road Authority.
