Construction has commenced on the Coastal Highway extension after the issuance of the work order in June 2026, while asphalt base work has been completed on 44 kilometres of the Mehran Highway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Work is also underway on the Tando Allahyar-Tando Adam dual carriageway, although utility relocation, transmission line shifting and pending approvals from Pakistan Railways remain key challenges.
