Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) is in the process of acquiring 60,000 kanals of land in Thay Panju, Halloki, Kacha, Kahna, Rakh Jhedu, and Toor Warraich for its LDA City project.<\/p>\n

An official of the LDA told reporters that the process of land acquisition slowed down because of the recent wave of protests, but it would be accelerated with a soft launch of LDA City next week.<\/p>\n
