The upgraded site is expected to be inaugurated during the Gandhara Conference scheduled for September or October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the Ministry of National Heritage and Culture, the project will include modern visitor amenities such as a cafeteria, gift shop and decorative lighting to improve the experience for local and international visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Officials from the Directorate of Archaeology and Museums briefed the minister on a historic Buddhist-era stupa located on a hillside opposite the caves.
