Three schemes valued at around PKR 11.7 billion received approval from the CDWP, while two projects costing approximately PKR48.545 billion were referred to the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) for further consideration. The infrastructure portfolio includes a road development scheme in <strong>Orakzai<\/strong>, aimed at strengthening connectivity and improving access within the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Karachi, the PKR 19.55 billion Karachi Neighbourhood Improvement Project (KNIP) is focused on upgrading urban infrastructure and municipal services in selected areas. The project is intended to improve the availability and reliability of water supplies for the port city. The CDWP also directed authorities to undertake a detailed assessment for a wastewater treatment facility in Gwadar.
