But now the civic authority has decided to resume and expedite development work in six of its stalled residential societies.<\/p>\n<p>The decision to resume development work in the sectors was taken in a recent meeting presided over by CDA Chairman Mr Maroof Afzal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sector I-12<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It was decided in the meeting that after completion of major corridors in Sector I-12, further infrastructure development would be carried out and possession would be handed over to the allottees. The CDA chairman told the meeting that the installation of signboards in Sector I-12 was in progress.<\/p>\n<p>CDA Administration and Estate Member Mr Amer Ali Ahmed stated that a boundary wall would be built at a cost of Rs 10 million in order to remove encroachments in Sector I-12, and also in the buffer zone between Sectors D-12 and D-13.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Park Enclave Housing Scheme<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The CDA chairman told the Engineering Wing of the authority to complete development work in Park Enclave Housing Scheme. According to a news source, the development work in the society will cost Rs 1.24 billion.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sector I-15<\/strong><br \/>\nMr Afzal was told during the meeting that bidders had been prequalified to start development work in Sector I-15. Apparently, the development work in the sector would commence soon.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sectors I-14, I-16, and D-12<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The chairman told the meeting that the authority would execute the remaining development work in Sectors D-12, I-14 and I-16.
