Our readers may find frequent posts on the topic uninteresting now, but given the stake many people have in the society and the fact that they have invested their hard-earned money in the locality, I consider it my duty to share any and all information I have and keep people posted on new developments.<\/p>\n<p>On December 22, 2014, I shared with you a warning message that LDA publicised for defaulters to clear their dues before December 31, 2014. You can read that post <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zameen.com\/blog\/lda-warns-it-will-cancel-plots-in-lda-avenue-i.html\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>There are a number of allottees who have still not cleared their balance with the authority. And for those defaulters, the authority has once again issued a warning asking them to clear their dues as soon as possible, failing which they will incur penalties and their plots will be cancelled, according to Clause No 6 of the allotment letter.<\/p>\n<p>I understand that there prevail some litigation issues in the society, but rest assured the LDA is keenly probing these issues and taking necessary measures to resolve them. However, I request all the allottees of the society to clear their remaining dues at the earliest to avoid cancellation of their plots.<\/p>\n<p>The authority has not announced a final date to clear the dues, but this should not be considered leeway to delay the payment. You should now step forward and play your part in helping the LDA hand over possession in the society swiftly.<\/p>\n<p>Though this is a brief post, I thought it was an important update that should be shared with you all.
