In the first phase of allotting alternate plots to the property owners in LDA Avenue I scheme, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) had handed over 321 fully-developed plots to their respective owners. Now, the civic authority has held another computerized balloting on March 4, 2015 at its head office in Johar Town, Lahore, through which it has allotted 1,278 alternate plots.<\/p>\n

The balloting was undertaken using a special computer software developed by the Punjab Information Technology Board. LDA Director General Mr Ahad Khan Cheema supervised the balloting process.<\/p>\n

The newly allotted plots are fully-developed and the respective plot owners can get the possession of their plots in a day by visiting the one-window cell of the LDA and start building their houses without any delay.<\/p>\n

An LDA spokesman told reporters that the LDA management had decided to resolve lingering issues in LDA Avenue I and had spearheaded the team to create 1,599 alternate plots.
\nAs mentioned earlier, 321 alternate plots had been created in the first phase of balloting on January 24, while the remaining plots (out of 1,599 plots) had been allotted last Wednesday.<\/p>\n
