Karachi: In response to the complaints lodged by traders and industrialists of the Korangi Industrial Zone, the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) has started rebuilding the Jam Sadiq Overpass at a cost of Rs 155 million.<\/p>\n

Since the bridge is used by massive number of commuters every day, the KMC plans to complete the project within a short time of two and a half months. While inaugurating the project, Karachi Administrator Mr Saqib Ahmed Soomro said the reconstruction of the overpass was started after seeking the required reports from engineers.<\/p>\n

The Jam Sadiq Overpass is regularly used for transportation of goods, but due to its dilapidated condition it was witnessing frequent gridlocks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
