Islamabad: The Prevention Committee of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has told the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to deal sternly with nonconforming use of buildings in the federal capital.<\/p>\n

The committee has suggested the civic authority make it compulsory for the revenue authorities to seek no-objection certificates (NOCs) for registry and transfer of plots. It also told the CDA to improve its monitoring systems to curb the development of illegal structures.<\/p>\n

The Prevention Committee was founded on orders from NAB Chairman Mr Qamar Zaman. In a recent meeting, the committee discussed the CDA\u2019s rules regarding the nonconforming use of residential and agricultural plots and the regulations regarding high-rise buildings in private societies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
