The authority is set to complete the project in a public-private partnership and has therefore requested bid proposals from national and international development firms to undertake the Rs 30 to 35 billion project.<\/p>\n<p>If you own a development firm and are capable enough to partner with LRRA to play your part in the development of LRR\u2019s southern loop, you need to keep in view the following:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The development firm will be responsible for detailed engineering, construction and finance of the project<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The project will be undertaken on the build-transfer (BT) model and the development firm will be paid in 8 years after the completion of the project<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Interested firms can obtain the request for proposal (RFP) document from the LRRA Deputy Director Office during office hours until June 1, 2015 for a non-refundable fee of Rs 10,000 that must be paid through a pay order or bank draft in favour of LRRA Chairperson.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The RFP document contains all the relevant details of the project<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 LRRA will provide land for the project<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 LRRA will not be responsible for the expenses that will be incurred by the interested firms for the drafting of the proposals<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Single Stage-Three Envelope bidding procedure will be adopted to select the firm<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The RFP document should reach LRRA Deputy Director Office by June 30, 2015 and it should contain pre-qualification documents, financial proposals and technical proposals in separate sealed envelopes, clearly marked \u201cEngineering, Procurement, Construction and Finance of Lahore Ring Road (Southern Loop) under Build-Transfer Model\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 A pre-bid meeting will be held on June 2, 2015 at 10:30 AM in LRRA\u2019s committee room<\/p>\n<p>If you are interested in submitting a bid proposal for the project, please keep the pointers mentioned above in mind.
