ISLAMABAD: The management of Centaurus Mall has decided to impose an entry fee of Rs 100 per person to curb overcrowding in the mall and to ensure the provision of an excellent shopping experience to the shoppers. The entry fee will, however, be adjustable against shopping in the mall.<\/p>\n
The management has exempted the following people from the entry fee:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Children under age 12 and women
\n\u2022 Members of Local Administration\/Judiciary
\n\u2022 Members of National and Provincial Assemblies including Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan
\n\u2022 Senior citizens older than 60
\n\u2022 Armed forces personnel
\n\u2022 Police personnel
\n\u2022 Ambassadors\/diplomats\/foreigners
\n\u2022 Government employees
\n\u2022 Personnel of law enforcement agencies
\n\u2022 Residents of the Centaurus Mall
\n\u2022 Special people
\n\u2022 Members of FPCCI
\n\u2022 Members of Islamabad\/Rawalpindi Chambers of Commerce
\n\u2022 Members of Citizen Developers Association
\n\u2022 Members of Bar Councils
\n\u2022 Members of print and electronic media
\n\u2022 Members of Kashmir Council
\n\u2022 Chief executives, directors and managers of national and multi-national companies

The move received a mixed response from the public on social media.
