Reportedly, the Awami Workers Party (AWP) has also supported the dwellers\u2019 concerns.<\/p>\n<p>Many people have warned that they would go on a hunger strike if the authorities concerned tried to evict the slum dwellers.<\/p>\n<p>The Capital Development Authority (CDA) had decided to start an operation against katchi abadis after Eid-ul-Fitr and had informed the Islamabad High Court that it would demolish 42 illegal shantytowns in the Federal Capital.
