However, the department has given conditional approval for the project, directing the executing agencies to spend 1% (Rs 1.65 billion) of the total cost of the project on plantation and solving other existing environment-related issues.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) and Traffic Engineering and Transport Planning Agency (TEPA) have planned to complete the load tests within 15 days.<\/p>\n<p>When announced, the project faced massive opposition from Punjab University employees, as the project\u2019s route was affecting the Punjab University Employees Cooperative Housing Society.
