A large number of people are waiting for balloting to take place in Ashiana-e-Iqbal Housing Scheme, but there has been no official update from the Punjab Land Development Company (PLDC) in this regard.<\/p>\n

So today, I spoke to an official of the PLDC to confirm the balloting date, but I did not learn much. The official could only tell me that the balloting would probably take place sometime next month, as the summary for balloting had already been sent to the higher authorities.<\/p>\n

When asked about the number of apartments to be balloted, the official did not mention an exact figure, but he did say that the balloting would be held in phases.<\/p>\n

About the delay, he said that a large number of applications were received for the Ashiana-e-Iqbal apartments and time was required to process them.<\/p>\n

For your convenience, I am sharing the floor plans of 500-, 600- and 700-square foot apartments in Ashiana-e-Iqbal Housing Scheme below:<\/p>\n
