Karachi: The Sindh government has planned to increase stamp duty on the sale and purchase of old buildings. According to a news source, an amendment has been made to Article 16-B of the Sindh Land Revenue Act, under which the value of the old buildings will now be calculated in light of a valuation table.<\/p>\n

Reportedly, the stamp duty will be 0.25 percent of the property value in case the market value of the property in question is recorded.
