After a series of unfortunate events that took place outside of their booking office in DHA Phase 5, Lahore, Fazaia management has learnt that they need a new mechanism for form verification.<\/p>\n<p>The decision was taken after a number of fake forms were found circulating in the market without an eyebrow being raised by the personnel concerned. These fake forms have affected the market for Fazaia Sargodha and consequently the rate of Fazaia forms has dropped from the launching rate of PKR 25,000.<\/p>\n<p>For form verification, the new process requires the forms to be brought to their Lahore Office, located in DHA Phase 5, where these forms will be stamped (see the picture below) by the representative of Fazaia management. The data against the stamped forms will be uploaded on Fazaia\u2019s system, which can perhaps be checked online. To get your stamped form verified through an SMS, you have to type the following message and send it to 8339.<\/p>\n<p>FHS (SPACE) Fazaia form number (space) currency number (of the Rs 10 note stapled with the form).<\/p>\n<p>I have also come across this information that Fazaia offices across Punjab will also start verifying forms through an SMS service. For the time being, stamp verification is being done only at the Fazaia office in DHA Lahore.<\/p>\n<p>With this new form verification method in place, many questions come naturally to the investors\u2019 minds. They are left to wonder why Fazaia suddenly felt the need for this additional verification and if circulating fake forms was that simple, why did they fail to think it through in the first place. It is without a doubt true that this verification process has frustrated the buyers and cautioned the investors. Despite Fazaia claiming it to be a necessity to protect investors\u2019 interests, the management has made a bad and untimely move in my opinion.<\/p>\n<p>As I write this, Fazaia\u2019s Lahore office is overcrowded and, considering the fact that people gathered outside of the office are angry, there are chances that the situation might become less than friendly.
