He added that \u2018genuine\u2019 villages will be regularised after a fresh survey.<\/p>\n<p>According to a news report, these 70 villages were regularised in 2012 without meeting the legal requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Under the Urban Villages Regularisation Law 2008, villages existing before or up to the year 2000 qualify to be regularised.
