Islamabad: Aziz ur Rehman, a resident of Jandi Village, submitted a petition to the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Saturday for the computerisation of revenue records in rural areas of the federal capital.<\/p>\n
Reportedly, the petitioner\u2019s counsel stated in the petition that his client is the owner of agricultural and residential land in the rural areas of the federal capital and has filed applications with the chief commissioner for computerisation of records, but to no avail.<\/p>\n
The petition stated that there are 112 mauzas<\/em> in the rural territory of Islamabad, but the land records of these mauzas <\/em>could not be completed despite various announcements by the authorities concerned.
