The Supreme Court while in a hearing for the illegal constructions on government farmhouses said that this was public property and not meant for personal usage of the people in charge. The advocate on the behalf of Agrarian farm owners said that there is a clause by the Supreme Court which nullifies the courts to attempt to downright demolish the illegal construction. <\/p>\n

The advocate also said that CDA was also considering to demolish these farmhouses but sice CDA\u2019s lawyer was on leave in Karachi, the summoning of this case should be postponed to another date. Justice Aijaz Chowdry said that the purpose of these agrarian lands was to grow fresh produce for the residents of the capital and not construct wedding halls and palatial residences. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
