Zameen.com held a competition on 7th august 2013 to celebrate the Independence Day of Pakistan. It was an open invitation to all without any prerequisites, to submit a photograph which shows the true spirit of patriotism according to what they perceive. The competition received a massive response and more than 500 images were submitted. The images were open to voting from public and these images recived more than 6000 votes. The winner of these pictures was to be selected by jury, and a renowned photographer Omar Mallick, with weightage given to the pictures receiving maximum votes and was to be given the elusive Nokia Lumia 520. <\/p>\n

25 pictures were shortlisted out of which one was declared, the winner. After a neck to neck competition between the chosen 25 pictures Mr Zia-ur-Rehman belonging to Sukkhur was announced the winner. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
