The Excise department has made it easy for the owners of property, to pay their luxury tax in easy installments. The government imposed luxury tax on all residential property of more than 2 Kanal in posh areas. The criteria of imposition of luxury tax on property, as per area was Rs 5 Lac on property ranging from 2 Kanal to 4 Kanal, Rs 10 Lac for 8 Kanal houses and Rs 15 Lac for all houses bigger than 15 Kanal. <\/p>\n
The Tax Payers have given assurity to the excise department that they will pay their taxes in regular installments. Many residents of Model Town, Garden Town and Gulberg have accessed the Excise department to pay their tax in four installments.
