City District Government, Lahore (CDGL) issued an order to conduct an operation in all towns to remove encroachments outside all the designated polling stations in Lahore and the operation is said to be conducted on emergency basis. <\/p>\n
The government further directed to remove encroachments from the adjoining areas of sensitive polling stations. To act upon the rules and regulations of Election Commission of Pakistan, local government has re-issued guidelines for the local bodies and TMAs. Regulation department will be responsible to act upon these rules and regulations. <\/p>\n
Along with following these guidelines, the city district government has also directed the towns to immediately remove rubble laid outside poling stations. Street lights, potable water and washroom facilities will also be made sure. TMAs are also directed to keep an eye on the issues like wall-chalking, as no wall-chalking is allowed near polling stations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
