In coordination with the Planning and Estate wings, the Engineering wing of CDA heads towards the patchwork and construction of remaining roads in Farsah Town. Furthermore, the formulation of a strategy for rehabilitation and up-gradation of Katchi Abadi dwellers in Farsah Town is also underway.<\/p>\n
CDA also shows keenness towards the subtraction of encroachments from Farsah Town to make it potential settlement for the residents to relish basic civic comforts. The Chairman of CDA has given directions to keep strict vigilance regarding the removal of encroachments, so that the violations may not crop up again. <\/p>\n
The Chairman also directed the Engineering wing to commence the construction of roads in the areas where plots have allotted. Syed Mustafain Kazmi, the member of Planning and Design has imparted the chairperson that the Farsah Town has been planned under Model Urban Shelter Project (MUSP), where plots have been allocated to slum dwellers from four different Katchi Abadis viz.
