Poor coordination between the CDA officials regarding the allotment of plots in D-13 put CDA Chairman in trouble before the Islamabad High Court. <\/p>\n

The Chairman, who appeared before the court to respond to a petition filed by the affected people of D-13, claimed before the court that neither the layout plan nor any allotment in the sector has been made so far. His claim was challenged by the counsel for the petitioners who not only produced the allotment letters of plots but also indicated that the former CDA director general had admitted before the court that the layout plan was completed in the year 2011. <\/p>\n

Now in the next hearing, the CDA Chairman will have to satisfy the court in order to avoid any criminal proceedings. <\/p>\n

According to the record, the chief executive of the Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) was among those to whom plots had been allotted along with a few other renowned persons as well. The CDA officials claimed that at least 16 allotment letters had been issued to people after the approval of the layout. <\/p>\n

The CDA also announced the award of D-13 and the affected landowners in the villages were offered developed plot against their land in the sector. However, the CDA failed to compensate the affected owners in 2009 and High Court directed the authority to compensate them within two months. <\/p>\n

Even then CDA failed to compensate the villagers and CDA gave an undertaking that the layout plan would be completed soon and the authority will compensate the villagers.
\nAccording to a CDA official, member planning and member estate had provided wrong information to the CDA chief which he recently presented in the court. It is because they did not have the factual information themselves. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
