Reportedly, trade activity has partially resumed in prominent housing projects of the major cities. Industry experts expect that the situation will improve further in upcoming months.<\/p>\n<p>Well, DHA Islamabad (DHAI) has taken a step to assist real estate investors by conducting Real Estate Consultant Association (RECA) elections in August 2016. In this regard, an Oath Taking Ceremony was held in Jacaranda Family Club on September 7, 2016. The ceremony was presided over by DHAI Administrator Brig Qaiser Shahzad. Shahzad took oaths from the new members, which were elected unopposed. The voters chose Chaudhary Farrukh Ameer as the new President of RECA. Other members include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Malik Ashfaq \u2013 Senior Vice President<\/li>\n<li>Col (R) Asif Kayani \u2013 Vice President<\/li>\n<li>Malik Ahsan \u2013 General Secretary<\/li>\n<li>Maj (R) Ahmed Nadeem &#8211; Joint Secretary<\/li>\n<li>Khalid Saleem \u2013 Finance Secretary<\/li>\n<li>Malik Ahtishaam \u2013 Media Coordinator<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In this ceremony, Administrator DHA shared his vision on how he sees the future of DHA and its relationship with the real estate consultants. RECA ex-president Maj (R) Buland Iqbal also shared his views on the role of RECA in managing related matters. RECA President Chaudhary Farrukh Ameer, too, spoke to the audience and made this much-appreciated announcement that the families of the martyrs of armed forces would be offered free real estate consultation from that day onward.<\/p>\n<p>In the same ceremony, RECA Advisory Council was formed. This council comprises 10 members lead by a\u00a0chairman. The purpose of this council is to keep an eye on how the activities of RECA are carried out.<\/p>\n<p>Protecting the rights of DHA Islamabad real estate consultants and clients is also included in the responsibilities of Advisory Council. In addition to that, the council will measure and monitor market trends and based on its findings, it will offer consultation to the stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>With this body in place and a well-formed network in operation to manage and monitor real estate consultation in DHA Islamabad, Zameen.com hopes to be in a better position to get in insight into DHA Islamabad real estate activity and future plans of the development.
