The widening of Adiala Road from Kalial union council office to Government Housing Foundation Colony has been completed. Now, the 6th Road Flyover project would be completed by the end of December 2012, rather than January 10, 2013. <\/p>\n
It was announced during a meeting held in commissioner\u2019s office under the chairmanship of Commissioner Imdadullah Bosal and attended by MPAs Malik Iftikhar Ahmed and Raja Mohammad Hanif Advocate et al. <\/p>\n
It was also announced in the meeting that Chairman Railways had been contacted to start the widening of Marir Chowk Bridge so that it can be completed within the given time. Rs8 million will be transferred to WASA to shift the sewerage pipeline from the 6th Road Flyover project area. <\/p>\n
The feasibility study of Leh Nullah project had started as per directions and it will be completed soon. During the meeting, other ongoing projects like Punjab Highways, Public Health and Engineering Department, WASA and small dams department were also reviewed. The Commissioner directed the concerned authorities to complete the ongoing projects within the given time period otherwise, action will be taken against the negligent contractors. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
