CDA has chalked out the plan to promote business activities in the federal capital of Pakistan. One major issue faced by the Authority has been the absence of enough funds to support the city’s business sector. Ignoring this aspect of Pakistan’s most important city would have been highly irresponsible on part of CDA. Therefore, the Authority has decided to auction a few commercial plots in Blue Area and other important markets of the city. <\/p>\n
The officials have shown commitment to keep the entire process of uplifting the business and trade sector of Islamabad transparent. The plan in this regard is to upgrade all markets and trade centers located in the city. These commitments were made by Faisal Sakhi Butt, the Chief Coordinator to Prime Minister on Islamabad Affairs, during a meeting with traders\u2019 community of I-8 Markaz. <\/p>\n
The meeting was held in honour of the newly elected representatives of I-8 Markaz. Butt believed that he has a better understanding of issues concerning the trade community of Islamabad as his family belongs to the business class and made pivotal contributions in establishing Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He also appreciated the role of business and trade community that despite facing serious issues, it played its role in promoting city\u2019s trade sector. <\/p>\n
While answering a question about power crises, Butt said that the government is all committed to tackle the power crises that it inherited from previous government and has started working on a comprehensive plan to deal with the load shedding issue. He stressed on Government’s goodwill for making it easier for the trade community by highlighting the fact that they have reduced the patrol prices immediately after the oil price went down in the international market.
