We are back again with a review of another absolutely awesome day that definitely surpassed everyone’s expectations and set a new benchmark for what a successful event truly means! Day 2 of the Zameen.com Property Expo 2017 (Karachi) was literally something for Team Zameen to be proud of and we are also very proud of the people living in the city by the sea for using their Sunday so productively!<\/p>\n

At 10 o’clock it was rise and shine for Karachi, as people began to throng to the Expo Centre in multitudes. The crowd got thicker short after and property fever was clearly palpable. In short, Karachiites were all geared up to shop property on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Highlights of the day<\/span><\/h2>\n

Our honourable chief guest for Day 2, Mr Mohsin Sheikhani, Chairman of the Association of Builders and Developers of Pakistan, arrived at the venue and visited many stalls. Needless to say, he was full of praise for the event!<\/p>\n

Zameen.com CEO Zeeshan Ali Khan also presented a commemorative shield to him as a token of appreciation.<\/p>\n

As the turnout was impressive right from the get-go, it literally seemed that Karachi was waiting to wake up and come to the expo! People from different walks of life\u00a0came to the venue and when we said it would be a family event, we surely meant it! Men, women, children, senior citizens attended the event and most of them were highly proactive in discussing real estate.<\/p>\n

I am sure all visitors were glad to have attended the event, as there were some fantabulously lucrative deals on offer! Even we were happy to see you all there!<\/p>\n

Speaking of families, how can we forget children? Although new to the property world (and the world in general as well), our little ones deserve to have fun wherever they go. Hence, we had fun activities for them as well.<\/p>\n

As always, people enjoyed posing in our house-shaped photo frame. Even senior citizens stopped by to get themselves pictured and we simply loved that!<\/p>\n

Waseem Uddin Ansari, \u00a0the Hum Sab Umeed Se Hain<\/em> star, was the highlight of the second day as well. Remember Pervez Musharraf? Waseem does look like him, don’t you agree?<\/p>\n

The Wheel of Fortune continued to spin throughout and people won exciting prizes just by spinning the wheel.<\/p>\n

Even on Day 2, the food courts served scrumptious meals to visitors. While people had detailed discussions on property-related matters, they also quelled their appetite by feasting on delicious food items .<\/p>\n

Towards the end of the event, we conducted a lucky draw to give away LED televisions, microwave ovens, smartphones and power banks to the lucky winners.<\/p>\n

The visitors of our expos are always very friendly and their spirits are usually skyrocketing! It was no different for Karachi on this colder-than-usual Sunday! This is what our happy visitors told us:<\/p>\n

People attended the event to quell their different real estate-related needs. We met Nadeem Mukhtar who joined the party with his family to find some good apartment options in North Nazimabad. Mukhtar said that such events should be held from time to time because they spread\u00a0awareness about the property market.<\/p>\n

Azhar Ali khan attended the event with his wife to find a potential investment option for the long term. \u201cWe plan to migrate to Canada, but before that we want to invest in Gwadar and this was the reason we came here,\u201d said Khan.<\/p>\n

Our exhibitors were super excited about the turnout and had a lot of positive things to say about the event.<\/p>\n

Among other prominent exhibitors, DHA Bahawalpur was also part of the property mania this weekend. We spoke with Major Rai Zameer, who is the marketing director of DHA Bahawalpur, and found him totally gratified. \u201cI believe this event is better than those organised in Lahore and Islamabad. The people of Karachi have shown immense interest in the project because we have a sub-transfer office of DHA Bahawalpur here,\u201d said Zameer.<\/p>\n

He told us that DHA Bahawalpur will be balloted in 2017 and possession will be handed over in 2018.
