The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Bahawalpur will be holding a ballot for its DHA Villas project today.<\/p>\n
The authority launched the project on February 19, and the last date for the submission of applications was March 4. We will find out today who ended up with a villa of their own. A final list of all the successful applications will be shared with our readers in a later piece.<\/p>\n
The ballot ceremony will be held at Cholistan Auditorium today. Invitations for the event have already been sent. Zameen.com also received an invite and will be exclusively covering the ceremony live through our Facebook page \u2013 check it out for updates!<\/p>\n
The ballot results will also be made available on the official website for the society on March 11. I will also be sharing the results as soon as I get my hands on them, for all of our Zameen blog readers.<\/p>\n
DHA received an impressive response from both end users and investors, despite the fact that DHA Villas launch date and the last date to apply were just two weeks apart.<\/p>\n
It is not surprising to see this kind of a response, given how fast DHAB is progressing. The pace of development work here is superb. On top of that, DHA is set to become a posh and prime housing society that matches Bahawalpur\u2019s grandeur.<\/p>\n
The villas are a hot option for many investors and buyers alike because of their competitive rates and the two-year instalment plan they come with. Being able to get possession in 2018 has more or less sealed the deal for many people looking to invest. In other words, just when successful applicants get possession of their DHA Villas, many other plot owners will also be constructing their homes in DHAB Phase I.<\/p>\n
In the developed and somewhat posh housing societies of Bahawalpur, which are nowhere close to the lifestyle standards DHA will offer once it becomes liveable, the average rate of readymade houses is higher than what buyers will pay for DHA Villas in two years. So, it makes complete sense that a large number of end users have applied for these villas.<\/p>\n
