\nISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) got a resounding response from the public on the first day of the CDA grand auction of residential plots, which began at a local hotel on Monday.
\nThe two-day auction announced by the CDA was meant for residential as well as commercial plots and would continue from 1000 to 1600 hours on Tuesday as well. According to a press release, the CDA offered seven residential plots for bidding on the first day of the grand auction.\n<\/p>\n
\nThe CDA offered four plots for bidding in Sector G-10\/2 and three plots in
\nSector F-11\/2 for auction. Plot no 151 and plot no 153 of Sector F-11\/2, each measuring 400 square yards, received the highest bid of Rs 44,000 per square yard. Whereas plot no 130 in Sector G-10\/2 received the lowest bid of Rs 35,500 per square yard. Plot no 152 of Sector F-11\/2, measuring 400 square yards, received a bid of Rs 43,500 per square yard. Plot no 130-C in Sector G-10\/2, measuring 233.33 square yards, received a bid of Rs 39,000, while plot no 130-B in Sector G-10\/2, measuring 233.33 square yards, received a bid of Rs 38,500 per square yard.\n<\/p>\n
\nPlot no 130-A in Sector G-10\/2, measuring 233.33 square yards, received a bid of Rs 36,000 per square yard, while plot no 130, measuring 233.33 square yards, received a bid of Rs 35,500 per square yard.
\nA committee headed by CDA Member Finance Javed Jehangir is supervising the auction. Other members include Member Planning and Design Tahir Shamshad, Member Estate Khalid Mahmud Mirza, Member Engineering Syed Ibrar Hussain Shah, director public relations, director estate management-I, director estate management-II, director one window operation and deputy financial adviser.\n<\/p>\n
