\nISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) would establish multi purpose parking plazas at the busy shopping centres and all the major markets of the city would have separate parking places to facilitate traders and the visitors.\n<\/p>\n
\nPrime Minister Task Force on Islamabad Chairman Fasial Sakhi Butt inaugurating a separate parking for Aabpara Market adjacent to the Khayaban-e-Suharwardy here Monday, said that government wants sustainable solution to the problems of the residents and traders of the capital city and all possible measures would be taken to make Islamabad model for the other cities of the country. Faisal said the government would specially focus on provision of specious parking along the markets, improving the sewerage, cleanliness and environment of the city. He called upon the residents of the city to fulfill their civic responsibilities by protecting the facilities especially in the form of beautiful environment and lush green parks provided by the civic agency.\n<\/p>\n
\nCDA Chairman Engr Farkhand Iqbal speaking on the occasion said that CDA was working on a comprehensive plan to build multipurpose parking plazas in the busy shopping centres on public private partnership basis to overcome the problems of traffic mess in the city.\n<\/p>\n
\nThe civic body would remove the encroachments and provide parking facilities in the markets. He said that 50-year-old sewerage system of the pioneer market of Islamabad, Aabpara would be revamped and the issues of cleanliness, landscaping and footpaths would be resolved without delay.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
