The decision has been taken to curb discrepancies found in real estate dealings carried out for these projects.<\/p>\n<p>According to details, the provincial government has set up a dedicated Project Management Unit (PMU) for this purpose with a cost of PKR 113 million. In order to deal with the property scams reported in these cooperative housing societies, the PMU mechanism has been computerised.<\/p>\n<p>With PMU in place, the developer will no longer be allowed to change the society\u2019s masterplan.
