On request of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), the ministry reached out to the Interpol to help arrest Kayani, who currently resides in the US<\/p>\n<p>Reportedly, the red warrant was issued on August 17, by Interpol\u2019s Main Secretariat in France.<\/p>\n<p>While pursuing the DHA City Lahore scam case, NAB investigated Kayani\u2019s brother Amjad Kayani and several others. The Bureau requested the ministry a year ago to contact Interpol so that the body could issue a red warrant.<\/p>\n<p>After arranging for the required documents and compiling the needed details, the ministry formally requested Interpol to issue the red warrants.
