Lahore: The Government of Punjab (GOP) has approved a land swap deal with the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Lahore for construction of the Lahore Ring Road (LRR)\u2019s Southern Loop II (SL-II), reports a news source. The provincial government will give an alternate 824 kanals of land to the DHA, and save PKR 1.53 billion in terms of project costs.<\/p>\n

According to details, the land swap deal between DHA and the GOP was under consideration for a long time. The matter was presented before the Cabinet Committee after the approval of the Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif. The land required for completing LRR\u2019s SL-II lies in Mouza Dullu, Mouza Khurd Kalan, Mouza Dullu Khurd Attari, and Mouza Attari Saroba.<\/p>\n
