Lahore: The Commissioner of Lahore, who is also the Lahore Ring Road Authority Chairman, Abdullah Sumbal said that the development work on Lahore Ring Road (LRR)\u2019s Southern Loop (SL) has entered its final phase, and it will be completed by the end of November, according to a new source. He surveyed the site and received a briefing on the project.<\/p>\n
The project, which is being developed at a cost of PKR 250 million, has been undertaken on a private-public partnership basis. Sumbal was told that the earthwork on LRR\u2019s SL-I and SL-II has been completed by 90%, while the asphalt work on roads is in process. He was also informed that the drainage work and electrification for SL-I and SL-II have been completed, while the laying of fibre optic cables, and the installation of equipment and toll booths is in process.<\/p>\n
