Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority has cancelled the NOC for Ministry of Interior Employees Cooperative Housing Society (MIECHS), according to a news source. The NOC for the society, which is located in G-16, was issued back in October 2010.<\/p>\n

MIECHS was not fulfilling the criteria prescribed for housing societies in Islamabad. According to the CDA Chairman and Mayor Islamabad Sheikh Anser Aziz, all the societies failing to match the set criteria have been declared illegal.<\/p>\n

Reportedly, the NOC issued to MIECHS was subjected to the submission of sewerage treatment plant design, demarcation of land transferred to the CDA (which includes parks, public areas and graveyard), demarcation of residential and commercial plots mortgaged to the CDA, and verification of complete land ownership of the society by October 2, 2017.<\/p>\n

The society management failed to comply with the mentioned requirements, therefore its NOC was cancelled yesterday with immediate effect.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
