Rawalpindi: The Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department\u2019s Rawalpindi Branch has sped up the property tax assessment correction process, reported a news source. According to taxpayers, the amount assessed by the department is greater than their actual due taxes.<\/p>\n

The department is hearing and solving many cases on a daily basis to give relief to maximum number of people, in this regard. \u00a0The department\u2019s spokesperson has also asked people to directly get in touch with their respective Tax Return Officers and get their property records fixed. Any taxpayer who is doubtful that the property they own is not the same as that mentioned in the Excise Department records can file a petition along with property documents.
