Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has sent PC-1 for remodelling of Ammar Shaheed Chowk and construction of a tunnel here, which lies on a VIP route, to the Punjab Planing and Development Department, according to a new source. The project is estimated to cost PKR 700 million.<\/p>\n
Subject to approval and issuance of funds, the project is likely to be completed in three to four months. The tunnel will offer a signal-free route to the traffic coming to and from Islamabad, Chaklala Scheme III, Kutchery Chowk and Garrison Headquarters.<\/p>\n
