Karachi: The Engineers, Builders and Developers Registration Committee (EBDRC) approved the issuance of licence to 14 builders, eight developers, eight architects and two structure engineers on the instructions of the Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA), according to a news source.<\/p>\n
The decision was taken in a meeting presided over by the SBCA Senior Director Ashkar Dawar. The committee scrutinised 44 applications and chose the applicants based on set rules of eligibility and required qualification.<\/p>\n
Talking to applicants present in the meeting, Dawar said that the successful applicants are expected to perform their duties professionally and honestly, ensuring that the construction sector of Karachi matches the city\u2019s importance and role in the country.<\/p>\n
