Islamabad: The Environment Protection Agency (EPA) has declared all 15 marquees in Sector E-11 illegal, and has further asked for Environment Impact Assessment and Initial Environment Examination reports to be submitted in one month, according to a new source.<\/p>\n
The EPA has also instructed the owners of these marquees to submit reports on water management, waste management, and an environment based on alternate plantation plan or legal action will be taken against them. Sources from the EPA have said that notices were sent to the owners of these marquees in December 2017 too, where owners were called individually for phase-wise hearing.<\/p>\n
A similar hearing was held by EPA a few days ago, where the agency declared all marquees in E-11 illegal, asking for a detailed environment assessment (EA) report to be submitted in one month.<\/p>\n
