Muzammil Hussain, and was attended by various other local and foreign dignitaries. The Wapda Chairman highlighted that the new unit has added 470 MW of electricity to the National Transmission System, whereas the entire project is expected to contribute 1,410 MW to the national grid by the middle of 2018.<\/p>\n<p>While commenting on the overall operations, Wapda Chairman added that the second unit is scheduled to be commissioned by the end of April, while the third and fourth units will be workable by the end of May this year. He further added that the three hydropower projects; 108 MW Golen Gol, 969 MW Neelum Jhelum, and 1410 MW Tarbela Dam\u2019s 4<sup>th<\/sup> extension, will all bring about real economic development in the country.
