Faisalabad: Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Muhammad Shahid has instructed all relevant departments to prioritise work on demolition or maintenance of dilapidated buildings, according to a news report. He said this while chairing a meeting with other local officials of the district.<\/p>\n

The gathering was informed that till now, 125 dilapidated buildings have been demolished and work on demolition of another 43 is being done. Similarly, out of 325 buildings that needed repair, 291 had been repaired.<\/p>\n

In the meeting, he also asked the departments that hadn\u2019t met their targets to report the reasons for this lag, and instructed them to improve the situation by the next meeting.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
