Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi Ring Road (RRR) project, which was proposed 27 years as an alternate route for heavy traffic, has instead been converted to a bypass, according to a news source. For Rawalpindi Bypass, which starts from Channi Sher Alam Bridge in Rawat on GT Road, and ends at Thalian Interchange on Lahore-Islamabad Motorway M-2, land spanning 1,080 acres will be acquired.
