Demolition of the asphalt top, concrete layers, and safety walls of the flyover near Lady Reading Hospital has been started. This work is being done to make way for the BRT corridor\u2019s Reach-1 to Reach-2 near the Bala Hisar Fort.<\/p>\n<p>The contractors have been given April 20 as a deadline to complete this demolition and have been instructed to remove the surface pavement carefully to preserve the bridge\u2019s girders for use again. These instructions were imparted by Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak.
